Terms & Conditions (Contractual)

These apply to your Service Agreement Proposed Services provided by Ranking Australia and CKP Creative as outlined in your service agreement proposal - and are activated upon your acceptance of the proposal. Last updated January 10th 2026. 

Key Information

Onboarding and Access

For efficiency (Once Approved), please provide access to; Your website platform

(i.e, Shopify), hosting, DNS registrar, Google Analytics 4, Google Search Console, Google Business Profile manager role, Meta Business Suite, TikTok or YouTube channel (as selected), image libraries, brand guidelines, and any booking or business-management integrations that affect tracking.

Workflow and Approvals

  • Content plan issued in the first week of each month
  • Client approvals within three business days to maintain cadence
  • One round of revisions per asset is included; additional rounds are billed at standard rates

Project Parameters (IMPORTANT)

  • Paid ad spend is not included.
  • Ads Management includes 1x Campaign Creation / Management (RA can manage up to 1x Existing Campaign. Additional Campaigns can be added at an additional cost.
  • New photography or studio video production is out of scope; on-site shoots can be quoted.
  • Major website redesign, new brand identity, or new booking system integrations are out of scope unless specified
  • After-hours or urgent turnarounds may attract priority rates - only on lower plans and out-of-scope work requested.
  • Third-party subscriptions are billed separately where required.

On Time Payments

  • Payments made on time or before the due date are crucial as non-payment, or late payments will result in interruptions or delays to further deliverability.
  • Go Cardless is used as our preferred payment method.

What to expect in the first 90 Days

  • Access, tracking audit, and technical fixes identified from the initial audit and review, as they apply to marketing priorities identified in the initial meeting - unless otherwise directed by actions and outcomes identified in strategic meetings.
  • SEO Optimisation of Key Pages, Products, Posts, Tags, Categories, as they apply to marketing priorities identified in initial meeting - unless otherwise directed by actions and outcomes identified in strategic meetings.
  • Initial Keyword Research and Opportunities, key phrases and Local SEO Content Planning for each Strategic Focus Area (as identified in initial meeting, unless otherwise directed by actions and outcomes identified in strategic meetings),
  • Content calendar for Content Creation (i.e. Posts & Socials, GBP updates)
  • Content creation (Initial Content Creation - Landing Page Copy, Blog, Social Posts, initial targeted landing page, backlink foundation, GBP posting cadence, short-form cadence stabilised
  • Expand content, evaluate keyword movement and Maps visibility, Premium compiles first monthly long-form YouTube upload.

What is Out of Scope?

When Additional Services Are Required...

If additional services are required, as identified by our team or yourself, these are considered “Outside of scope activities” and can be added each month, depending on identified needs. Additional quotes will be provided upon request. Once invoices are paid, we can commence these extra activities.

Out-of-scope services will be quoted as fixed-price deliverables based on the nature, complexity, and value of the requested outcomes. Quotes will be provided in writing prior to commencement. With mutual written agreement, existing deliverables may be exchanged for alternative services of equivalent value, as reasonably assessed by the provider, based on previously agreed pricing or comparable project valuations

Examples of “Outside of Scope” or Additional Activities...

Work that is not catered for within the Scope of Services and specified monthly deliverables. Examples include (but are not limited to):

  • Additional Web design and development tasks not mentioned in scope.
  • Publishing Products
  • Google Merchant Centre Management
  • Landing page development for specific campaigns or promotions
  • E-commerce functionality setup or upgrades
  • Additional Campaigns Creation & Management (Google Ads, Meta Ads, etc.)
  • Additional Social media content creation and management
  • Implementation of Email marketing campaigns, automations, or newsletter setups
  • Video production for brand channels, marketing campaigns, ads or social media
  • Additional blogs beyond the agreed quantity per month
  • Optimisation of more than specified pages or products per month
  • Crisis management, urgent technical fixes, or out-of-hours support requests
  • Third-party integration setup (e.g., CRM systems, booking platforms, payment gateways)

TERMS OF SERVICE

To support your growth, we will implement a tailored marketing strategy and services that include the following - These are generalised inclusions - see the specifics below >>

  • Deliverables - See scope selected above.
  • Service Schedule & Variations:
    • Blogs, Product, SEO & Content Creation: Creating the framework for in-house blog publishing, product uploads, etc., as per the proposal scope chosen, mentioned above.
    • Strategic Landing Pages: Improving content and adding new landing pages to boost your SEO and provide valuable information to your clients and partners. Targeted pages to capture specific search queries and drive enquiries to gain more local clients and beyond, as per the proposal scope selected and mentioned above. Landing pages may be delivered instead of blog articles, where agreed, based on strategy discussions and the chosen scope, see your scope of services above.
    • Enterprise Website Maintenance & Website Publishing: If included in the scope, ensuring your website remains up-to-date, secure, and functional regardless of updates. Includes your website tech support - we are your go-to if anything happens to your website, as we keep it running. You liaise with your web host to ensure it's brought back online seamlessly and quickly.     • Website Technical Support Services: Reasonable limits applied. This is subject to our fair use policy.
    • Strategic Meetings: To review content, marketing strategy implementation, performance, lead quality, and service offerings, and to continue to align with your services, professional standards, and compliance, to support your brand's success online.
  • Payment Terms & GST
    • Monthly payments are processed automatically and accepted via EFT, credit card, or direct payment.
    • All services are paid in advance. Work will only commence once payment has been confirmed.
    • All fees and charges quoted are inclusive of Goods and Services Tax (GST) unless otherwise stated. Where applicable, GST will be added to the final invoice in accordance with Australian taxation laws.
      • All payments are non-refundable once work has commenced, except where required by Australian Consumer Law. Upon payment confirmation, we allocate resources and schedule team capacity in advance to deliver your services. For this reason, we do not offer refunds or credits for a change of mind or unused services

  • Cessation of Services & Subscriptions
    • Cancellation or Cessation of services requires 30 days' written notice to info@rankingaustralia.com.au.
    • Upon cancellation, all service delivery ceases. No pro rata rates apply. We remove access to our systems and withdraw ourselves from all client access points. Client access to all shared files and resources is removed.
  • Third-Party Platforms, Integrations, and Ad Spend
    • Google Ads Spend is charged separately from our service fees. You’ll need to provide us with manager access to your Google Ads account (which remains linked to your payment method). While we will monitor performance and spend, actual charges may fluctuate by approximately 10–15% above or below your set budget.
    • Please note: Google applies GST to its charges, which will appear in the billing section of your Google Ads account. These charges are billed directly by Google and are not included in our invoices.
    • Third-Party Tools & Subscriptions: If we assist with integrating or updating external platforms or tools (e.g., CRMs, e-commerce plugins, email platforms), additional charges may apply, depending on the complexity of the work. Any third-party software or subscription fees are your responsibility and must be initiated and maintained by you.
    • Failure to maintain active subscriptions or correct payment information may result in interruptions or losses of website or platform functionality, which are outside our responsibility to monitor or manage.
  • Scope of Services, Scope Variations & Change Control
    • Scope of Services: The Services to be delivered by Ranking Australia and CKP Creative are strictly limited to the inclusions outlined in the approved proposal and selected service tier. Any work outside these inclusions is considered a Variation or “Outside of Scope Activity” as described in the proposal documentation, "What is outside of scope?".
    • A Scope Variation may arise when:
      • You request additional services not included in the agreed scope;
      • Our team identifies additional work required to achieve outcomes beyond the original inclusions; or
      • External factors require adjustments to timelines, deliverables, or methods.
    • Requesting Additional Work or Changes to Scope: All requests for additional services, adjustments, or expansions of scope must be submitted in writing  (email is sufficient). Once received, we will review, clarify (if needed), and prepare a written quote outlining:
      • The nature of the additional work,
      • Estimated hours or fixed fee,
      • Adjusted timelines (if applicable), and
      • Any dependencies or requirements.
    • Approval Process: No additional work will commence without the written approval of the quote. Approval constitutes acceptance of the cost and any related timeline impacts. Approved Variations will be invoiced prior to commencement unless otherwise agreed.
    • Impact on Deliverables & Timelines: Variations may extend, modify, or pause previously agreed project timelines. Where a Variation affects the delivery of monthly services, this will be communicated during strategic meetings or via email and reflected in the updated schedule.
    • Emergency, After-Hours or Priority Requests: Requests requiring urgent turnaround, crisis management or outside normal business hours may be billed at priority or after-hours rates. This will be disclosed before commencing work.
    • Recurring or Ongoing Additional Services: If additional services become ongoing requirements (e.g., extra blogs, landing pages, additional meetings, weekly content creation), the monthly plan can be upgraded or restructured upon request. Restructuring follows the same approval process as scope variations.
    • Third Party Costs: Any third-party platform fees, software subscriptions, advertising spend, or integration costs incurred as part of a Variation will be billed separately or paid directly by the Client, as applicable.
    • Fair Use Limitations: Website technical support and marketing support included in the core service tiers are subject to reasonable-use limits. Where requests exceed these limits or fall outside standard inclusions, they will be treated as a Scope Variation and quoted accordingly.
  • Subscription Terms
    This agreement operates on a subscription basis, with services delivered continuously and progressively across each billing period. By subscribing, you agree to the following:
  • Services are delivered on a monthly basis, according to the deliverables outlined in your selected proposal or the scope of services.
  • This is a prepaid subscription: all payments are processed automatically in advance, via EFT, credit card, or direct debit. Services for each month commence only after payment has been received and confirmed.
  • Subscription services automatically renew every 30 days, unless you provide written notice of cancellation at least 30 days prior to your next billing date.
  • We allocate resources and reserve production time for your account upon payment. For this reason, all payments are non-refundable once work has commenced, except where required under the Australian Consumer Law (e.g., in the case of major service failure or unmet guarantees).
  • We do not provide credits or refunds for change of mind, partial use of services, or unused deliverables within any billing period.
